HOPE
At MEPPI, we are proud of our philanthropy committee, HOPE (Helping Our Partners Exceed). The mission of the HOPE Committee is to represent MEPPI as a good corporate citizen by providing monetary assistance, organizing volunteer assistance, and encouraging employee involvement in local philanthropy. MEPPI employees raise money through various activities including Jeans Days, Ice Cream Socials; Hallway Golf, a Cornhole tournament, and other activities. MEPPI employees volunteer their time at local organizations by planting trees, cleaning, serving food, and working with children with disabilities. We are proud to support our employees' efforts to help improve the communities in which we live.
MEAF
The Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation (MEAF) opened its doors in 1991, after having been conceptualized by a group of Mitsubishi Electric U.S. companies' presidents in 1988. MEAF is dedicated to helping young people with disabilities maximize their potential and fully participate in society. The Foundation provides national grants to projects and organizations throughout the United States that are focused on the full inclusion of young people with disabilities in society, giving preference to areas where Mitsubishi Electric facilities are located.
